Hello there, my name is Amanda Pearson and I'm excited to be working with computers for college! This is a fun Web Dev class but I'd really like to sharpen my computer skills to be able to work with the city and help create parks and recreation sites for all to enjoy! I can't wait to graduate in Spring of 2023 to see where I will soar!!
I learned about the world wide web in the third grade and didn't get a family PC until the 7th grade! How crazy does that sound?! Computers have always intrigued me and I'm very excited to see how far technology has come, and to see how else we can get it to help us out in the world.
A goal I have for this class is just to enjoy understanding webpage coding and have fun with it. The most experience I've had is a tiny bit of MySpace page editing from years ago, so I'm definitely ready to learn the real basics. I think I like the documenting and organizing aspect of webpage making too. Being able to share your story and ideas through a series of your own web creations. Pretty neat! I've currently been using google sites for this purpose, which is also fun! But not as involved and customizable for sure.
