I love it so much, I can't seem to pin down one exact craft to spend all my time with. Now I have a whole room filled with organized shelves and various bins and drawers, all ready to be opened up and created with. Here are two examples of crafts I enjoy:
Leathercrafting
I worked at Tandy Leather Factory in Portland, OR for about 4 years, where I picked up this lovely old-world craft. About 95% of what I know is directly related to working there and being able to be around the tools and materials all the time, and meeting makers with wonderful personalities who would share their knowledge and craft. It was a fantastic experience.
Rock Polishing

It is fun to collect small rocks or semi transparent rocks called agates. We recently purchased a rock tumbler and some grit and had wonderful results after 4 weeks of tumbling!
